People who buy lunch from the school cafeteria have to wait on really long lines, and by the time they reach the front, they don’t have much time to eat.

So there will be an app on the google play/apple store called Quick-e-Lunch™, and students can look at their daily lunch menu choices. They can pre-order their lunch from the app and pick up their lunch from a Quick-e-Lunch station.

This is a lifelong problem, and to alleviate it we've created an app.

Price: We want to be highly accessible to everyone and priced within so for the schools we will charge about $10 for each station, plus $15 for shipping. For the schools, it will cost a total of $80. The app will be free to download on all devices, so families can easily pre-order using the app.

Product name: Quick-e-Lunch™

The station has a touchscreen on it to enter your pin code. Once you enter your pin code, the lunch you ordered will come out onto the conveyor belt labeled with your name. Since there are about 100 students per grade, there will be 10 stations, so (theoretically) about 10 people can wait on the line each, shortening the line greatly, since not everyone buys lunch, so it will be more like 5 people per line at the stations.

Inside the station, there is a compartment where are the orders are stored. In the morning, a MSFC delivery truck comes to the school, and fills it with trays. Each tray has a bar code and is labeled with the student's name. Once you enter a pin-code, the corresponding bar code will be scanned and it will be pushed onto the conveyor belt for the person to receive.

The app: You can select the date and choose options from the menu when you log in. At the end, you enter in your pin and bank number, then it will deliver to the station. Because delivery trucks for this will come around 9 PM every day, orders are due by then.   

About accounts: The school will automatically sign up every student with a username and password for the app. The app will be similar to using pin numbers. At the station, it will be the same pin you had before.

Availability:

It will be available in the U.S. states. Each state that has schools that purchased Quick-e-Lunch™  will have MSFC delivery trucks come from a delivery station at 10 AM every morning. Orders are due 9 PM every night.
